Weather, cancellation, late policies
Wild & Wonderful, LLC leads trips regardless of the weather with the exception of weather conditions deemed dangerous by our staff. Dangerous conditions include but are not limited to electrical storms, high winds, extremely cold temperatures and other severe weather conditions. Should severe weather conditions occur within the first hour of your trip, the trip may be cancelled or rescheduled. Severe conditions occurring after the first hour will result in a delay and we will attempt to complete the full duration of your trip. If the severe weather occurs during the last 30 minutes of your scheduled trip, it will be considered a full trip. Sorry, refunds or rain checks are not offered for weather related events.
Deposits are required in order to secure a reservation. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to a trip. A $25 administrative fee is retained on any returned deposits.
We ask all clients to arrive 10 minutes prior to start time; this is to ensure enough time to prepare for the trip. Any clients arriving late run the risk of missing their trip and losing their deposit (see cancellations above).
PLEASE NOTE: Please be aware that a minimal processing fee for online transactions will be added to your payment upon checkout. It will appear as "shipping and handling" although no shipping is involved.
Please be sure to leave a telephone number where we may contact you before the trip. A spot (link) is provided in the upper left corner of the order form.

These walks are along level, smooth trails that have a wide and well compacted surface. All walks require proper footwear, but an easy walk can be done in sturdy athletic shoes.
An intermediate walk is on dirt trails with generally well compacted surfaces but with the occasional rocky and uneven surface to negotiate. The intermediate trails will take us up and over hills and now and again across a creek. A sturdy walking shoe or boot is needed.
A difficult trail is rocky and uneven for much of its length. There are often steep sections which may require you to use your hands and there is almost always a water crossing on a difficult trail. Heavy walking shoes or boots are needed on these trails and sometimes sandals are needed to cross a creek. Walking sticks are a good option.
